Pinewood Derby!!!!

It's almost here!

The trophies are here. The cars are under way. The excitment is building!

If you want to weigh your cars during the week, the scale will be at Gethsemane in the Pre-school room. 5.0 ounces or 142 grams, is ok.

The Girl Scouts wanted rules, so I put down what we generally follow. Here is a copy of those rules, along with various locations for availability.

Schedule

Friday 6:30p - 7:00p - Track setup, work area setup.
Friday 7:00p - 9:00p - Practice time. Come early to help setup please.
Saturday 9:00a - 10:00a - Check in/gathering/last minute tuning.
Saturday 10:00a - 10:20a - Friends of Scouting, announcements, and advancement
Saturday 10:30a - ??? - Racing!

February Pack Campout

We're really going to do it! The Cubs are going winter camping! February 8^th-10^th. We have a nice big cabin at Fred C. Anderson. And that's going to be our Blue & Gold dinner. Come for the weekend, the day, or just the evening. It's going to be a blast! The menu is still be decided on, but we're pretty sure turkey is the main course. Families should come for dinner. Signups to come.
